Paul Thurott has now revealed further details on
the next version of Windows,
that the company’s
Threshold plans will involve a
release of Windows 9 around
April 2015 in San Francisco.
Microsoft will allegedly unveil
its vision for Windows 9 at
the company’s Build 2014
developer conference in
April. After facing too much
criticism by removing the Start Menu in OS Windows
8.
Now Microsoft to re- introduce a Start menu in
Windows 9, but that the
company may deliver this
feature early in a second
“Update 2″ for Windows 8.1
later this year.
Windows team is looking for ways to
make Windows 8.1 friendlier
for mouse and keyboard
users.
Delivering Windows 9 in 2015 means that Windows 8
will have been available for
almost three years.
